مسافر بحقيبة فارغة... وضحكة أمل تملأ وجهي
بأحلام تداعبني... جواز سفر بيدي... أأدعي معرفة دربي؟

رحلتي ابتدأت.. أعلنت فطامي.. أأغرر بنفسي؟
تجذبني أضواء في الأفق.. صور تخيلتها.. أم أصوات ناس تهذي؟
أتجه إلى ضوضاء بعيدة.. وخلفي.. .. أ عيونًا تبكي..
تتسارع خطواتي.. أصواتهم تخرج من رأسي.. أأقسو على نفسي؟
فضول طفل داخلي.. طيش شاب.. أم هروب يدفعني؟
بنظرات حائرة على وجهي.. أتسائل أمن هنا دربي؟

محطات كثيرة استهوتني.. محطات طردتني.. أهو ظاهر خوفي؟
مسافرون ارتطموا بي.. ظننتهم أهلي.. ولكن لم يتعرفوا إلى وجهي..
بين صور جمعتها.. بين عناوين حفظتها.. ولكن يا أسفي..
ظننت أنني أملك اللحظة.. لم أدرك أن الوقت يجري..
رحلة إلى الأمام ظننتها.. أسرع خطواتي.. لا أحاول التقاط نفسي..
بين صدمة الواقع.. بين غضبي.. وبين يأسي..
في آخر المطاف.. وبشعر أبيض.. وجدت نفسي عند أول خطواتي..
نظرت.. وجدت بلدي حولي.. وعيون أخرى تبكي..
عرفت أنني رجعت إلى البداية.. أدركت عندها.. كروية أرضي..

طيور مهاجرة تمر فوق رأسي.. ضحكة تهكم تملأ قلبي..

  • guys dont get so depressed...it is just a thought that passed my mind ,,what if this is the feeling at the end ...personally i love traveling and moving from place to another,,,maybe cos i love it so much i asked my self ...what if ...enjoy it ..

    rasha ,...ofcourse i want to do that ..who doesnt? ..but all people that i met ,even though they do what they want (not compleltly ..it cant happen)still there is always something they couldnt do ..could be family..business...spirit...etc...that was the part i was talking about ,,some people spend years doing something..beleiving it is their dream..then something happens showing them that they were mistaken ..that was just an interpration of the dream ...humans are like that, always asking ..what if? ..so that what i felt and i believ it is the first step for a better understanding ...away from that ,,i am happy and satisfied ,,

    dear hattario hanzo,so far i learnt alot ..but learning never stops,,so maybe when we r (game over)we might learn somehting that totally contradicts with what we though or beleived ...maybe what we learnt is only (being familiar and have an idea of somehting) ,when we though it is a (scince) that its lows and equations shall never change or be demolished ..but who knows ...being born is not a decision ..spending a life time ..is a decision ..a choice ..
    about life not being round ..i do agree wth y to an extent ..but if u look at it ,,that when people get old,they become more similar to children in their attitude& dreams ..,less agressive,,fragile and easily disturbed..still less anxious and hesitant ,in other words..more primitive and basic..,,then of course to dust,to earth , as the way they started..from earht to earht ..in that circle of life ...i see a circle...example: we feel that the earth and the horizon are straigth lines...cos we r too small compared to their size..when man was more advanced (wiser )hence able t go out of the (scale complex) he saw the truth ..it was round .cant fool himself any more...all math,phisics laws were changed..at that time the way he thinks changed,,never take things for granted..so same for life ...it could be a line ,,but when u see it in a larger scale ..it might be a CLOSED CIRCLE ..at least theorically ,,lets accept it and start from there...
    and i liked the picture of the begining of life that y placed in yr blog ...

In your portrayal you have observed a model that seems to be a perfect fit, because of its ease, and therefore, you deduced that this is life.

    Men and women are born the same way, and they die the same way physically. But the ways they live their lives are differnet. The way one lives his life is what diffrentiates him. What I learn, do, and accomplish in my life, I will carry with me after death. The difference is being forgotten or remembered, and if you are remembered, what are you remembered for?

    It is true that when people get older they become like children in their attitude and dreams, but in each case for different reasons. Children do it because of inexperience and immaturity, while old people are like that because of wisdom. Yes, man goes back to earth, but not in the same form.

    Maybe when I die I will find out that life is a "CLOSED CIRCLE", but who cares?

    This is life: a journy of discovery, and more importantly, a journy of SELF-discovery. It is full of surprises, happiness, pains, regrets, etc...

    if y are talking about details..this is true..if y r talking in general ..no it is not, like when u watch a road full of cars, from a top of a high building ..u wont recognize men from women ,,in details..women migth drive more slowly ..or might cause more tension- not my statement but lets accept it forgranted- they migth be going shopping when men drive more crelessly or going to work ,,maybe some loud music coming out ..but the general issue is that all these cars are starting from a point ending up in the same point ..aiming to get same place to accomplish something ..so in life ..y live ,eat work,,and satisfy yr self emotionally,financially,..etc.y fear the same things ..the end,the pain,and dream of the same things,happiness,money,,health,,children ....that is the general theme i am talking about ..seeking satisfaction,and avoiding suffering ...or seeking heaven and avoiding hell..it can be put in many words,,but never the less..
    what y carry with y to yr death is the credit of the good things y did,,,ofcourse there is a memory but it is not the main goal of people..it is like having a nice food,,it s not cos of having a nice memory about it ,,it is to satisfy yr self ...yr needs..
    about old and children,,what y said confirms that both of them act in wisdom...i would state that the children do it out of ignorance,,maybe old ones out of wisdom,,which is understanding that life is as simple as it is ..with out the effect of what we(young ones) feel when it comes to extreme attraction,bewilderment ,and energy...thats why only young people can enjoy loud,energitic music,,,or drive fast,or enjoy being in a smoky crowded places- i appreciate having this spirit and praise it .. i do love it alot, but i know i will stop when i am old-
    about tears..it pictures the sad/happy feelings of yr people when y leave ,they did the same when y were born(joyful) and the second time out of sorrow cos this is the end ...(as when we die)
    the anger,despair are because of finding out that y were mistaken thinking this road will end up somewhere...thats normal...
    i remmber smone saying(i spent all my life searching for a life...at the end i found out that what i wasted searching was my life) ..
    again i wrote something talking about (what if?), it didnt happen to me cos i am not there yet to find out the answer..but i saw it around me ..and tried to picture it ..
    life is a journey of self-discovery..totally agree with y ,,thats why i wrote this article..to share the idea with others..i think many dont know what self-discovery is ...this is a chance to spread it around ..do we agree?...thx

  • Sorry for my bad English. What I meant by saying "Men and women are born the same way, and they die the same way physically. But the ways they live their lives are differnet." is to say that human beings (I was not trying to diffrentiate between men and women) are born and die in the same physical form, but what sets someone aside from the others is the way he or she lived his or her life.

    Other then that, I think we are saying the same thing but in different words; except that you seem to choose to look at life from a depressing point of view.

    Others have a more positive outlook on life, such as things they want to accomplish, ways to advance themselves, an endless sea of opportunities, things to learn, and emotions to feel.

  • i see yr point ...trust me i have a positive outlook for life...i enjoy it to the maximum,,maybe more than what i am supposed to ,i see all the nice things in life ,,what i wrote was a depressing expression ,i agree with y ..but after it y feel more alive and joyful...actually it helps to be more optimistic..like seing someone else problem,,y feel yours is nothing ,,thx for yr comments...looking forward to see more topics in yr blog ...

  • Impressive indeed. I knew you are talented but did not realize you wrote poetry too!! You guys are doing a good job on the blog. Homs never gets enough credit so keep it up. I just got back from a trip to Homs couple of days ago and had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful visit with your dear grandmother. If you must know who this is, you have to call your grandma and ask about her list of guests lately.
